CMA Ice Cream Social & a Movie June 22
Join your CMA Fellows on June 22 for an ice cream social followed by an outdoor movie in a nearby park.
We'll meet at 7 pm at Eiffel Waffle 955 W. Webster Ave. in Chicago, then walk 5 blocks to Jonquil Park 1001 W. Wrightwood Ave. in Chicago, to see a free movie outdoors, “TROLLS,” from 8:30-10 pm. Please bring your own blanket or lawn chair for viewing.
Eiffel Waffle, with six locations in Chicagoland including Wicker Park and Lincoln Park (where CMA will meet up, at the 955 W. Webster Ave,) was originally founded in suburban Chicago by childhood friends Omar and Barra during the COVID pandemic. Its bubble waffle is a unique spin on an upgraded waffle cone with a crispy exterior and is soft and fluffy on the inside. They use their own special ice cream to create elaborate and tasty confections.
Afterward, the group will walk over to nearby Jonquil Park, 1001 W. Wightwood Ave., to watch the animated feature “Trolls,” beginning at 8:30 p.m., part of the Chicago Park District Movies in the Parks series.
