Chicago Roundup Plans Cosmic Bowling Event April 23

Chicago Roundup’s annual Cosmic Bowling fundraiser will take place Sunday, April 23 at 2:30 p.m. at Waveland Bowl, 3700 N. Western Ave. in Chicago.

Described as “the biggest, baddest, boldest bowling bonanza you’ve ever seen,” the event promises “an afternoon of high-energy fun, excitement, and camaraderie.” Prizes and raffles will be part of the fun, with all proceeds from the event supporting Chicago Roundup’s mission of helping those struggling with addiction.

The Chicago Roundup Cosmic Bowling Event is organized around 6-person teams, each team targeting $1,500 as a fundraising goal. (Up to 10 can join a team, though just six can bowl.) Team Captains register here. If you want to join but don’t have a team? Register at the “Join a Team” button.

Established in 2010, Chicago Roundup is a multi-day conference for the LGBTQIA+ community and their supporters who are members of any 12-step recovery program. With a mission to create a safe place for members to enrich their sobriety, make new friends, and celebrate their recovery, it is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation run entirely by volunteers.
