CMA Chicago Fall Pizza, Pool and Spa Party Nov. 24

CMA Chicago Activities Committee announced its November Fellowship event: a pizza and pool party in Rogers Park at the Casa Bonita Condominiums, 7340 N. Ridge Apt. 2A (Daniel R’s place).

The event runs from :30 - 10 pm. Pizza and drink will be provided. All CMA fellows are welcome; just bring a swimsuit, towel, and favorite spa mask, if you have one.

“We will eat first then head to the indoor pool,” says Daniel. “You can swim or use the spa facilities, which are steam room and sauna. Keep it family friendly though :)!” CMA members are encouraged to attend. Fellowship is an important part of recovery, along with meetings, step work, sponsorship and service.

Casa Bonita was included on the Chicago Architectural Tours. Built in 1928 and designed by Alexander Capraro & Morris Komar, this extravagant Spanish Renaissance Revival apartment building in glistening white terra cotta surrounds a stunning landscaped courtyard. The building’s 66 units share several unusual amenities for its time, including a billiards room, a library and the large indoor pool.
