Registration Open for Chicago Roundup Recovery Conference Aug. 25-27
Registration is now open for the annual Chicago Roundup recovery conference. It takes place from August 25th to 27th; all fellowships welcome.
A signature event for the Chicago recovery community, Chicago Roundup takes place at the Center On Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted St. in Chicago. Scholarships are available. More information and registration is located at ChicagoRoundup.org.
This year’s theme, “Chosen Family Reunion,” calls on those in recovery to reunite with their chosen recovery family and to add tools to the tool box that will help in walking the journey of recovery with grace and ease. “Family” means “we are not alone” and never have to move through life isolated. At Chicago Roundup you are invited tol laugh, learn and lean in deeper to recovery
The first 130 registrations get to see the new Barry B. Production “The Real Girlfriends of Chicago,” a spectacular drag musical. Those who miss it August 25 will be able to use their conference badge to see the show on September 9.
Registration fee includes everything for the weekend.
Established 2010, Chicago Roundup is a multi-day conference for the LGBTQIA+ community and their supporters who are members of a 12 step recovery program. It aims to create a safe place for our members to enrich their sobriety, make new friends, and celebrate their recovery. It is a not-for-profit organization and are run entirely by volunteers.
Chicago Roundup is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Illinois that provides several events annually for the LGBTQIA+ 12-step recovery community and its supporters. As a nonprofit organization, its events and operations are funded almost entirely through contributions, including the registration fees collected from members each year.
